Trader Goods Profile (TGP)

A Trader Goods Profile (TGP) is a record used by businesses under the UK Internal Market Scheme (UKIMS) to store detailed information about the goods they move from Great Britain to Northern Ireland, including goods description, commodity code and country of origin.

 

Once created, a TGP allows traders to reuse pre-approved goods data when making customs declarations, reducing the need to repeatedly provide the same information. This helps to simplify declarations, improve accuracy, and speed up the movement of goods.
