Inventory Release
Linking a UCN (Unique Consignment Number) to an MRN (Movement Reference Number) allowing for goods to be taken from a storage location.
A frontier declaration will allow for the goods to be moved from the temporary storage location. A consignment is assigned a UCN and this will be added to an MRN and the linking of the two will allow for removal from temporary storage.
Clearance from a temporary storage location will require a badge code. This is assigned to agents uniquely but can be distributed for other people to 'nominate' to a clearing agent.
1. UCN assigned to the consignment
2. UCN added to the MRN
3. UCN marked as 'arrived' when the vessel gets to the quayside of the port location
4. Arrival of UCN will trigger message to the MRN and allow for release from the Temporary STorage location.
This process can happen at port locations to release from the quay, or from ETSF's (External Temporary Storage Facility's)
