Inland Border Facility (IBF)

Inland border facilities are UK government sites where customs and document checks can take place away from ports.

 

If a driver is informed that an inspection is required after generating their Goods Movement Reference (GMR), they must attend the IBF as soon as they leave the terminal or port.
