At EORI we believe the logistics and customs industry has a responsibility that extends far beyond declarations, borders and supply chains.
Transport changes lives.
That’s why we are proud to support Transaid not just through fundraising campaigns or industry events, but throughout the entire year.
Founded in 1998, Transaid works across sub-Saharan Africa to improve road safety and access to healthcare through safe, sustainable transport solutions. Their work combines industry expertise with practical, life-changing initiatives that support drivers, healthcare workers and communities alike.
For businesses operating in international trade and logistics, the connection feels natural. Every day, we see how critical transport infrastructure, driver training and supply chain reliability are to economic growth and human wellbeing. Transaid takes that same expertise and applies it where it can have the greatest impact.
Supporting Transaid is not simply about sponsorship for us it’s about getting involved.
This September, Two members of the EORI team, Oliver and Rob will be cycling over 450 kilometres from Mount Kilimanjaro to the coast of Tanzania in support of Transaid.
Transaid works across sub-Saharan Africa to strengthen transport systems and healthcare delivery, ensuring that patients, healthcare workers, and essential medicines can reach clinics and hospitals safely and on time, particularly in rural communities.

EORI became part of Transaid’s corporate support network because we wanted our contribution to go beyond a one-off donation. We wanted to support something meaningful, sustainable and genuinely transformative.
Over the years, we’ve seen firsthand how Transaid brings together the transport and logistics sector to create real change. Through partnerships with businesses across the industry, the charity has helped:
Their programmes continue to save lives while creating long-term improvements for local communities and transport networks.
One of the things that makes Transaid unique is how deeply connected it is to the transport and logistics industry.
From major exhibitions and fundraising events to technical training initiatives and corporate partnerships, Transaid has become a unifying force across the sector. Businesses large and small contribute expertise, training support and funding to help deliver practical outcomes where they are needed most.
At EORI, we are proud to stand alongside so many organisations helping drive this mission forward.
Supporting Transaid also reflects our wider commitment to responsible business practices and making a positive contribution beyond our day-to-day operations. In an industry built on movement, connection and global trade, it’s important to remember the human impact transport can have.
The challenges Transaid tackles do not disappear after a campaign ends or an event finishes.
Road safety, healthcare access and transport training require long-term commitment and sustained collaboration. That’s why ongoing corporate support is so important.
By supporting Transaid throughout the year, companies can help provide the consistency needed to deliver training programmes, develop local expertise and build safer transport systems that continue creating impact long into the future.
We’re incredibly proud to continue supporting Transaid and the inspiring work they do across Africa.
Because transport doesn’t just move goods. It moves people, opportunities and lives forward.
